Sand Art is the latest series in my environmental art portfolio. After numerous visits to the same stretch of beach in Mal Pais Costa Rica, one morning, I realized that environmental art starts by observing nature. The mix of lava and yellow sand forms amazing patterns with each wave. Each pattern lives for a second then forms another.
